The SCA Brewing Skills Intermediate Course is designed for coffee professionals and baristas who already have brewing experience and want to improve coffee quality through a deeper understanding of extraction science, brewing variables, and recipe control.

This hands-on specialty coffee course builds on Brewing Foundation knowledge and focuses on how grind size, water temperature, brew ratio, extraction time, and brewing techniques affect flavor, balance, and cup consistency.

Participants will learn how to scientifically measure, analyze, and adjust coffee brews to consistently produce balanced and well-extracted coffee across multiple manual and automatic brewing methods.
